This week we are joined by Uncle Mosh who sits in for the duration of episode #64. We discuss Carr being at the Pro-Bowl, Raiders Fans vs Being a fan of being a Raiders fan, definition of a Sports fan, listen to a Raiders family story from Wyoming Raider, and hear from Murf about his Blackhole of the Internet.
Derek Carr being at the Pro-Bowl means he's not at the Superbowl. It's a consolation prize. That said, it's nice to see him relaxed and having fun on the football field again. He won the QB skills competition and is raising eyebrows with the receivers.
There is a lot of hate circling Raidernation over the past couple weeks with the Patriots advancing to the Superbowl again. Some people think it's standard of being a Raiders fan to hate the Patriots, Tom Brady, and everything associated with that team from New England. While we here at Raiders Fan Radio absolutely abhor the Tuck Rule and what it cost the Raiders, we respect what the Patriots are doing. From a sports fan perspective, it's an incredible run that demands respect. We take a deep dive into this concept and call out some of Raidernation for their lack of Sports Fandom and putting too much emphasis on simply being a fan of being a Raiders Fan. After all, how could a Raiders fan ever call out the Patriots for cheating? The Raiders practically invented cheating in the NFL.
Wyoming Raider calls in this week to discuss a Raiders moment with his son. He shares a funny story where he and his son sit down to watch a Raiders game. At least, that's what he hoped would happen. Check out the episode to hear the full story...
Murf ends the show with a Blackhole of the Internet taking a look at Special, Special Teams' moments from Raiders past.
